Review: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE Superfood Cleanser
I'm always on the hunt for the latest health and wellness trends. A few years ago, my beauty stash would have rivaled a makeup artist, but I've been trying to cut back on the amount of products I have because I'm not wearing nearly as much makeup as I have in the past. My product-collecting tendencies have moved to wellness and skincare trends. Enter: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE's cleanser, made with kale, spinach, and green tea. Their Age Prevention Cleanser ($36 for 8 oz.), is vegan and formulated with antioxidant rich ingredients.
Kale is packed with vitamins A, C, E, and K, green tea with polyphenols, and spinach defends your skin against environmental stressors. Read: This is a powerhouse cleanser packed with a trio of antioxidant rich superfoods. I'm not seeking out anti-aging skincare per se, but it's never too early to get started right? Another plus: all of their products are made in small batches with vegan ingredients.
I've been using this cleanser for the past few weeks and am loving it so far. Compared to the cleanser I was using previously, this doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after I wash my face, and I feel and look more awake thanks to it's gentle foam and sweet scent.
If eating these ingredients turns you off, consider integrating them into your skincare routine with this cleanser and YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE's full line of skincare.
