Review: Glossier Super Pack Serums

You may know her from her cameo's on The Hills, her website Into the Gloss, but if you don't know Emily Weiss' [no relation!] brand Glossier, you're missing out, or living under a very large rock. Their signature shade of washed-out baby pink that's the right mix of sophistication and girly-girl can be seen across their brand and in the wild, with avid fans sharing their #glossierinthewild spotting on Instagram for a chance at being re-posted from the brand.

With the tagline skin first, makeup second, it was no surprise that their Super Packs Serum Set ($45) sold out, as many a product had before after their launch in September. Containing three serums, which can each be purchased separately- Pure, Glow and Bounce each come with their own curated set of skin benefits.

Super Pure ($28): Without a doubt, stress shows on your skin, but Pure will get you in check. Niacinamide, also known as vitamin B3 soothes redness, while zinc PCA penetrates your pores to clear impurities and minimize the production of sebum. If it's that time of the month, finals, or you indulged in a few too many fatty treats, Pure will clear you up.

Super Bounce ($28): Feeling dehydrated? Add plumpness back to your skin with Bounce, which softens and hydrates with vitamin B5 and hyaluronic acid. Vitamin B5 is not only found in Bounce, but in superfoods such as lentils, mushrooms, and avocados [three of my favorite foods!], and aids in regenerating skin layers. Don't be afraid of applying acid, because hyaluronic is something you'll want to soak up as it holds up to 1000x its weight in water. If you're feeling rough or dry with the winter months approaching, Bounce is what you need.

Super Glow ($28): Looking to get lit? Glow is for you. This is perfect for early mornings where I'm too tired to do makeup, but don't want to look asleep. Packed with vitamin C, which penetrates deep into your skin to lighten dark spots over time, and magnesium PCA, which supercharges your metabolism, Glow will create a light-reflective complexion and even your skin tone with time.
