Best Vegan Food In Boston
last updated: April 2022
I was so lucky to live in Boston for four years while in college, and to be able to visit multiple times after moving away! Here are some of my favorite vegan spots around the city.
RESTAURANTS
DIG.: Formerly Dig Inn, this chain of fast-casual dining is perfect for vegans and non-vegans!
Life Alive: I absolutely love Life Alive, their Green Goddess bowl in particular. Their matcha with peppermint syrup is a fun spin, too!
Pressed Cafe: I discovered one of Pressed Cafe’s locations in New Hampshire when I was in town for a wedding, and was pleasantly surprised by their delicious vegan menu!
105 Huntington Ave.
+ Newton and Burlington, MA; Salem and Nashua, NH
My Thai Vegan Cafe: Everything on their menu is vegan and delicious, and perfect if you crave Chinese and Thai food like I often do! A hole in the wall on the second floor in Chinatown, try out the pad thai or any of the fried rice dishes.
3 Beach St. (second floor)
COFFEE + JUICE SHOPS
JUGOS: They have delicious smoothies and bowls here, perfect to grab and enjoy in Copley Square.
145 Dartmouth St.
Pavement Coffeehouse: I've talked about Pavement before as one of my favorite coffee shops, but aside from that, they have some delicious vegan breakfast options! My favorite is the Vegan Tequila Sunrise.
DESSERTS
FoMu: Their Allston location is conviently a few doors down from Whole Heart Provisions if you're craving something sweet. They have a variety of coconut-milk based ice creams and baked goods plus catering available. You can find pints at several local grocers as well!
