Best Vegan Food In Los Angeles

It’s finally HERE! As I approach my six-year vegan anniversary, I figured it was finally time to sit down and get this post up with all of my recommendations for the best vegan food in Los Angeles! Central LA
Crossroads Kitchen: I believe Crossroads is one of the only, if not the only, fully vegan upscale fine dining in LA. And in my eyes, it’s totally worth it!

Doomie’s: If you need a late night bite after a night out in Hollywood, head to Doomie’s for their take on the In-n-Out staple - animal style fries.

Green Table Cafe: Located in a well-lit spot on Pico, Green Table Cafe offers a variety of vegan Italian menu items, plus coffee, smoothies, and more.

Nic’s On Beverly: They have a super cute outdoor dining set up on the back patio that’s great for brunch with friends or a date night!

NoMoo: Burgers, fries, shakes, and more are available at this vegan spot on Melrose!

Pura Vita: Their food is mind-blowing! Everything is fresh, tasty, and you’d truly never know the difference that it wasn’t vegan.

Westside (Santa Monica, Venice, Westwood, Long Beach, etc.)
Margo’s: This is a perfect spot to dine outdoors on Montana Ave., my favorite part of Santa Monica!

Thai Vegan: Really tasty pad thai here, perfect to bring home for dinner after a day on the beach!

Ramen Hood: From Top Chef winner Ilan Hall comes Ramen Hood, a delicious spot in the Grand Central Market for delicious ramen and sides!

East LA (Echo Park, Highland Park, Silver Lake, etc.)
Flore: This fully vegan and organic spot also offers gluten-free options and is a great for lunch!
2943 W Sunset Blvd.
Kitchen Mouse: They have the cutest spot with ample indoor and outdoor seating options. Once you’re done eating, pop into their connected store for some shopping.

Little Barn Coffee House: The perfect spot for vegan breakfast in Glassell Park.
3329 Division St.
Valley
Donna Jean: This San Diego restaurant recently opened a location in the Valley, perfect for date night or any celebration. It’s a comfortable atmosphere with delicious options.
4720 Woodman Ave.
El Cocinero: Formerly the Vegatinos food truck, now a permanent location in Van Nuys!
6265 Sepulveda Blvd.
H.O.P.E. Healthy Organic Positive Eating: I’ve been obsessed with the pineapple fried rice at H.O.P.E. ever since I first moved to LA and will definitely continue to be.

MANEATINGPLANT: Vegan musubi, garlic foods and more! They are located inside Topanga Social in the Westfield Topanga Mall in addition to their food truck.

O’cado: Both the tacos and the buffalo cauliflower here are absolutely delicious!

Something Vegan: Their chicken caesar wrap is the BEST! I’m also obsessed with their garlic fries.

SunCafe: This Valley staple has a beautiful patio area and cozy atmosphere.

Multiple Locations / Chains / Trucks
Cafe Gratitude: With a few locations throughout Los Angeles and greater SoCal, this is the perfect spot for groups or a solo moment.
Lettuce Feast: I can’t say enough good things about this food truck! Their chicken and fries are insanely good, make sure to get the Honey Hot Chicken!
Monty’s: This is one of the most highly recommended vegan spots for a reason! Monty’s is a go-to for vegans from Culver City to Echo Park for a reason.
Mr. Charlie’s: This is one of the more affordable options on this list, and a solid spot to enjoy a bite to eat!
Plant Power Fast Food: They have the most delicious vegan animal style fries here! I love their breakfast sandwiches, burgers, shakes, and just about everything else. I love their LB location and they recently opened one in Hollywood as well!
Hollywood: 776 Vine St.
Long Beach: 5095 E Pacific Coast Hwy
Sage Bistro: All of their food is comforting, delicious, and not too fancy. This is a great lunch spot or place for a group!
Sugar Taco: I’m SO glad they have a second location in the Valley so I can get their delish food even closer to home.
WeHo: 7257 Melrose Ave.
Sherman Oaks: 15025 Ventura Blvd.
Veggie Grill: This is an ol’ reliable when you want something tasty that isn’t too pricey, and will get to you fast! There are so many locations now so it’s easy to get this delivered just about anywhere in LA.
Vegan-Friendly
Cecconi’s: This is a great spot for a nice date night or a special occasion, particularly if whoever you’re going with isn’t vegan!

Din Tai Fung: They have a fully vegan menu here including dumplings, wonton soup, buns, and more. Everything is delicious and well-worth a visit!
Erewhon: If you’ve been here, you know it’s way more than a grocery store. I love their hot bar, prepared foods, and salads.
Fat Sal’s: They recently expanded to add a few vegan items to the menu, including a shake, fries, and a few sandwiches!
Great White: This is the perfect spot to start a day in Venice! They have such a cute spot, but parking can be limited in the area.

Malibu Farm: Visiting Malibu for the day? There’s no better place to visit than one of two restaurants on the Malibu pier! There’s also a location in Orange County!
23000 Pacific Coast Hwy
Mendocino Farms: This was the first restaurant I ever ate at on my first trip to LA, so it will always hold a special place in my heart!
Mohawk Bend: A primarily vegan menu, plenty of seating, and a great location all make Mohawk Bend worth a visit!

Pine & Crane: Delicious vegan options and non-vegan options as well! Don’t miss out on their signature sauce.
DTLA: 1120 S. Grand Ave. Unit 101
Silver Lake: 1521 Griffith Park Blvd.
Pots n Woks: Located in Whittier, they’ll load up your plates with delicious vegan orange chicken and more.
11213 Washington Blvd.
Tacos Tu Madre: This is a perfect spot for lunch with friends, especially if they aren’t vegan!
The Butcher's Daughter: This is a vegetarian spot with most items vegan or easily able to be made vegan! I love their Venice location but they also have a few NYC locations.
1205 Abbot Kinney Blvd.
Tocaya Organica: This is a go-to spot for fresh and fast food. Try their bowls, burritos, tacos, and more!
Tony’s Darts Away: This Burbank bar features a wide variety of craft beers with a predominantly vegan menu, plus a few options for non-vegans.
1710 W. Magnolia Blvd.
True Food Kitchen: In addition to their Santa Monica location, they have a few more through Orange County.

Urth Caffé: Though Urth does remind me of watching LA YouTubers c. 2014, it’s a good spot to bring out of town visitors.
BONUS: ORANGE COUNTY
Munchies Diner: There’s no shortage of classic diner fare at this Santa Ana spot, plus California staples like big burritos.

Nice Guys 100% Vegan: Their burgers and fries here are absolutely delicious, and their staff is super friendly!
VEG’D: This drive thru concept in Costa Mesa by Matthew Kenney has delicious food that comes out super fast!
