Easy Vegan Smoothie Recipes
Looking to start your mornings a little easier and healthier? These three smoothie recipes have only four to six ingredients each and are the perfect way to get added nutrients into your system before you even walk out your door. They require little to no preparation, taste delicious, and are filling for a long day. And I don't know about you, but in the summer, I don't love having warm breakfast, so if you're like me, smoothies may be the perfect alternative for you!
A few additional smoothie tips that might be helpful as you experiment and find what you like!
-Try to have at least one frozen item included to keep the texture less liquid-like.
-Chop up fresh fruit (bananas especially, as they're the base for all of these recipes!) and freeze them so you always have them on hand!
-Feel free to throw in add-ons (vegan protein powder, pre-workouts, chia seeds, etc) as desired.
-Looking to make a smoothie bowl or açai bowl? Use strictly frozen and not fresh ingredients for a thicker and more spoonable texture.
