Millennial Pink — Jacqueline Weiss

Millennial pink is here to stay and I love it. My wardrobe tends to be fairly neutral, but once I saw this jacket, I knew I had to have it. I think what millennial pink has shown us since it's rise to the top is that pink can be a neutral. There's an interesting article I read in NY Mag recently, Why Millennial Pink Refuses to Go Away, and it's pretty spot on.

While on my trip to Italy, and in an overwhelming five-story Zara store in Rome, I saw this jacket and knew I had to get it. It's just oversized enough to wear with a fitted top and pants, the cut is just right, as is the length. Plus, the muted pink color obviously drew me right in. I absolutely love this silky lace top, from the Who What Wear Collection available at Target. I feel like lace has a rep for being too sexy, and not appropriate for daytime wear, but you can absolutely dress these lingerie inspired tops (I also have this in the millennial pink, #noshame!) with ripped jeans and wedges for daytime, or heels and tight jeans for nighttime.

Ok, let's talk about my second favorite part of this outfit: these sandals. The taupe suede is the perfect neutral shade, but if you're not into this color, they come in so many other patterns, textures and shades. Plus, the chunky heel is perfect, and the straps accentuate your ankle in all the right ways, and it looks perfect with cropped jeans for spring.
